Param Sundari Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 2: Sidharth–Janhvi Film Crosses ₹26.80 Crore, Beats Metro In Dino

Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s romantic drama Param Sundari is showing encouraging growth at the box office. After a mixed start, the film picked up momentum on its second day and crossed the ₹25 crore mark worldwide.

Day 2 Collection Report

According to early estimates, Param Sundari collected ₹9.5 crore on Day 2 in India, registering a 27% jump from its opening day. The film’s gross domestic earnings now stand at ₹19.80 crore, while its overseas business added another ₹7 crore. This brings the movie’s two-day worldwide total to ₹26.80 crore.

The film has comfortably outperformed Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino, which managed only ₹12.40 crore in its first two days. With double the earnings, Param Sundari has emerged as the stronger release among recent rom-coms.

Weekend Outlook

The big test awaits on Sunday (Day 3). Trade experts are closely watching whether the film can sustain this growth and reach the ₹50 crore mark within its first weekend.

However, it still trails behind Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara, which had collected a massive ₹67 crore worldwide in just two days—more than double of what Param Sundari has managed so far.

About the Film

Directed by Tushar Jalota and produced by Maddock Films, Param Sundari is a cross-cultural love story between a Delhi boy and a Kerala girl. Alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, the film also stars Rajeev Khandelwal and Aakash Dahiya in pivotal roles. It was released in theatres on August 29, 2025.
